Bharat Bandh on 27th April Against Price Rise

Tommorow is Bharat Bandh

 

A Bharat Bandh is called by 13 non-UPA and non-NDA tomorrow i.e. 27th April 2010 against price rise. The Bandh will be called by all non Congress and non BJP parties.

 

The parties which will actively take part in this all India protest against price rise is Communist Party of India (CPI), Biju Janata Dal, Communist Party of India (M), Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), Indian National Lok Dal( INLD), Samajwadi Party (SP), Rashtriya Samajwadi Party (RSP)  etc. It is a protest against the drawback of the UPA government to manage price rise and inflation.

 

A.B. Bardhan, Communist Party of India (CPI) general secretary said, “We have decided to organize a shutdown in the country April 27 against the price rise.”

 

The protesting parties want the rollback in the petroleum products price hike.
