Sri Mannarayana Balayya is a lecturer in a college in Hyderabad but he doesn’t tolerate any injustice and bashes up the wronged guys. Boyapati Sreenu triumphs once again. He gives starving fans a reasonably good movie ‘Simha’ starring Balakrishna in dual role. A voluptuous female colleague (Namita) loves him. So is Janaki (Sneha Ullal) who is saved by Sri Mannarayana from goons. When a rowdy (Aditya Menon) from Vizag comes to take away Janaki from Sri Mannarayana, a flash back is revealed. 30 years ago, in Bobbili, a family of landlords treats the local people as slaves and kills if anyone revolts against. Now enters, a foreign returned doctor Narasinha (Balakrishna) belonging to Bobbili royal dynasty to save the people. Within no time, he takes up law onto his hands and becomes savior. But he and his wife (Nayanatara) are killed in a fight in the end. It is Sri Mannarayana’s job to finish the mission. Simha movie generated tremendous pre-release positive buzz and it resulted in humongous openings.
The screenplay is taut but the film is not without flaws. The film moves slowly initially and again the latter half, during the homam scenes stretches quite a bit. The romance between the ladiesNamitha , Sneha Ullal, Nayanatara hasn’t been handled well and Balakrishna’s awkwardness was visible. Despite some tasteless comedy the film blends action and drama well and the best part of the film is that there is nothing loud from either the villain or he hero which is quite unexpected.
Namitha is obscenely obese and you could see layers of fat jutting out from every part of her body, her clothes made her look worse. It’s baffling to see fifty plus heroes romancing girls half their age but if this is want people want to see then no complaints. About Balakrishna, he performs admirably, does a competent job, he stands out in the dying scene with Nayanatara.
The lady who played Balakrishna’s grandma looks out of place, a clear misfit. A local talent could have worked better.

Performances
Balakrishna looks good in the role of doctor. Unlike his regular movies, he is restrained and yet very ferocious when required. He has also tried to come up with some steps in songs. Nayanatara as a jamindari wife looks royal and beautiful. Her role is minuscule but makes impact. Namita in her oversized figure is not that appealing. Sneha Ullal looks like a kid in front of Balakrishna. K R Vijaya as grandmother is okay. Aditya Menon and Malayalam Sukumar as antagonists are perfect.

Kota Srinivas Rao once again shows how good actor that he is. Comedians like Venumadhav, Brahmanandam, Dharmavarapu and Krishna Baghavan try hard to make us laugh but fail miserably.Camera work (Wilson and Prasad) is first rate. Music by Chakri is also good. Editing is nice. Director Boyapati has tried to play safe with the same time tested mass elements that are seen in films like Narasinha Naidu, Samara Simha Reddy and Magadheera.
 Plus Simha
  1. Ballaya’s Tremoundous Action
  2. Powerful Punch Dialogues
  3. Songs and dance
  4. Direction
  5. Screenplay
  6. Sneha ullal was good and gorgeous
  7. Namitha and Nayantara Added Colours to the movie
Minus Simha
  1. Not Many Negative Points to share but only some to put Main Villaian Role is just a dummy
  2. Climax was Not That energetic but ok
  3. A Little Bit Less Dialogues But The one which have are really Very Powerfully Delivered

Simha is not an enriching, soul stirring, emotionally resonant film but it is definitely a good offering, a jumbo mix of action and little drama for holiday movie going crowd.
Total movie for Balayya : 100% sure that ‘Simha’ is a new life for Balakrishna. One can wonder why this Nandamuri Lion has taken a long time in delivering this kind of powerful movie after ‘Narasimha Naidu’. Hardwork put in by Balakrishna was visible on the screen. First half of the movie is a mix of action and comedy with a powerful interval bang while second half gives the life with graceful Narasimha character leading to a regular climax.

Simha is not an enriching, soul stirring, emotionally resonant film but it is definitely a good offering, a jumbo mix of action and little drama for holiday movie going crowd this summer. after long long back balayya will happy and Fans Full  Enjoy....... Nandamuri Fans................and Audience ...
